Organization Management

Texterz is built with multi-tenancy at its core. You can manage multiple team members, isolated client environments, and global organization settings.

Organization Settings

1. Team Management​

You can invite team members to help manage your agents and knowledge bases.

Roles & Permissions​

  • Admin: Full access to organization settings, billing, team management, and all agents/knowledge bases.
  • Member: Can create and manage agents, knowledge buckets, and channels, but cannot access organization-level settings or billing.

Inviting Members​

  1. Navigate to Settings > Team.
  2. Enter the email address of the person you want to invite.
  3. Select their Role.
  4. The invitee will receive an email with a link to join your organization.

2. Company Knowledge Buckets​

While individual bots can have their own knowledge, you can also create Company Buckets that are shared across your entire organization.

  • Use Case: Shared company FAQs, internal training manuals, or brand guidelines.
  • Efficiency: Update the company bucket once, and all connected bots immediately have the new information.

3. Sub-Organizations (Agencies only)​

Pro and Enterprise users can manage multiple clients as isolated Sub-Organizations.

Why use Sub-Orgs?​

  • Data Isolation: Client A cannot see Client B's documents or conversations.
  • Individual Billing: If you use Stripe Connect, each sub-org can have its own subscription plan.
  • Quota Control: You decide exactly how many credits or bots each client is allowed to use.

Parent-Admin Access​

As a parent organization administrator, you can "impersonate" or jump into any sub-organization to help with setup or troubleshooting without needing separate login credentials.

4. Billing & Quotas​

Usage Tracking​

The Management Dashboard provides a real-time overview of your total consumption:

  • Total credits used this month.
  • Total storage occupied across all buckets.
  • Active bot count.

Auto-Recharge & Top-ups​

To ensure your clients' bots never stop responding, you can configure Auto-Recharge. When your credit balance hits a specific threshold, the system will automatically purchase a pre-defined amount of credits using your saved payment method.
