As an infrastructure provider, Texterz ensures your data is secure, but you are responsible for how you communicate with your customers. This reference outlines the mandatory compliance rules for each channel.

WhatsApp Compliance​

WhatsApp is highly restrictive to prevent spam.

  • Approved Templates: Every outbound conversation MUST start with a Meta-approved Message Template.
  • 24-Hour Window: You can only send free-form messages within 24 hours of the user's last message.
  • Explicit Consent: You must have a legal basis (consent or legitimate interest) for contacting leads. Cold messaging without a legal basis will lead to rapid account bans.
  • Prohibited Content: Gambling, adult content, weapons, and illegal finance are strictly forbidden.

Telegram & Social Compliance​

  • User-Initiated: Only message users who have previously interacted with your bot (e.g., clicked "Start").
  • Rate Limits: Respect API limits. Texterz handles basic throttling, but avoid mass-pushing to cold lists.
  • Honor Opt-outs: If a user blocks the bot, all communication must cease immediately.

Email Deliverability​

  • Authentication: You must configure SPF, DKIM, and DMARC records for your sending domain to ensure high deliverability.
  • Unsubscribe Links: Every marketing email must contain a clear unsubscribe link.
  • List Hygiene: Regularly remove bounces and complaints to maintain your domain reputation.

SMS & Voice Compliance​

  • Documented Consent: Marketing via SMS or Voice requires explicit, written consent in most jurisdictions (e.g., TCPA in the US).
  • Time Windows: Observe local restrictions (e.g., no marketing calls after 9 PM).
  • Penalties: Non-compliance can result in significant legal fines per message/call.

Data Security & Privacy​

  • Isolation: Each organization's data (Knowledge Buckets, Conversations, Contacts) is logically isolated in our database.
  • Encryption: Data is encrypted at rest and in transit (TLS 1.2+).
  • GDPR: Texterz provides the tools to handle data deletion requests and maintain audit logs of AI interactions.
